Steroids and Antibiotics

I hope you all had a wonderful Sunday. Ours was quiet. We had to cancel the birthday dinner. My better half is sick and had to go to the emergency room yesterday. The doctor prescribed steroids and antibiotics. He should be feeling better in a few days. He has bronchitis and his lungs are clogged so he's not feeling very comfortable.
I have two birthday cakes sitting in the refrigerator. One is cream cheese and the other chocolate. They look yummy and tempting but maybe the birthday people will come by and pick up their cakes.. If not I'll try to make room in the freezer. They look too good to go to waste. In spite of my better half not feeling well we've had a nice lazy day. He's rested a lot and so have I. Tomorrow stormy weather is coming in. Not too bad just in general. Everyone sleep well tonight. See you tomorrow.

@celticeagle I had never heard of it. Good to know. He should ask his doctor about it. I'll make a note.

Oh Ruby, I'm sorry to hear your husband is sick! That bronchitis is going around, I've heard others say they've contracted this and others say they have a cold. This is the best time, to get our flu shot, too! I will pray about this and talk to you tomorrow. Rest is such a good remedy, in most cases

@RubyHawk Oh yes, I took steroids a couple times, too. My blood sugar started to elevate, but not too high.

@kobesbuddy He has to take steroids every time he gets bronchitis, which is every year and lt always runs his sugar high but his doctor still thinks it's best to clear his lungs. He takes more insulin as needed
