Valerie sends Love to my part of the world

Just as we were talking and writing about the postcard sending spree of a few months ago, today I got some Love all the way from Green Bay. Thank you, @just4him Valerie, for the lovely greetings all the way from Green Bay Wisconsin. As the Fall arrives in your area so our Spring has sprung and summer is nearly here. The heat has already got us captive in our homes but nothing stops me from my weekly outdoor activity Lawn Bowls. We are encouraged to drink plenty of water as we have had a few ladies collapse due to dehydration at mid-day. (temps already reaching 34*C) Hopefully, when hubby and I are at the coast I shall replenish my postcard stash so that I can send to everyone again. Postcards in my mailbox always give me a warm feeling of "friendship across the oceans" And you? what are your feelings about mail in this modern day and age?

I'm so glad you received it. I was beginning to worry as I sent it quite a while ago. 34 C is quite warm so I hope you keep hydrated.

@Inlemay Every time I try that, something happens to make me switch back to paper... a government form, or request for original bill to satisfy some legal requirement...

Good post card there. With the new sites on internet where people can communicate easily the postal method has now become outdated and most people do not have postal addresses. It has now been difficult to use postcards because of this. good for you it still works there.
