The good side of bad things.

When bad things happen to us, it's normal for us to be sad for a while (depending on what happened), right? But, are you the kind of person who can see good things when something bad happens to you, taking advantage of your situation or you get shaken and slow to get up and move on? How do you see yourself in this situation?

This is something interesting. I had a cardiac syncope these past weeks and left the site for a while so I could visit a doctor, be in hospital and now I am going for the medical exams they prescribed me. I know that all this problem came from a bad situation I was in, that is: I was working as a freelance translator for a company that was not so professional as I thought they were and that was making me sick. In fact, I could not realize that THAT was the problem, but I was so shaken inside, things they did and things I thought were right and they didn't do, so after six years with them, I collapsed and yesterday I told them I would not perform anything else and they could take my name out from their freelance translator's list. I am feeling so much free now. I feel I can breathe better, I am smiling so much more and I feel confident the world will show up with something even better for me! That was my move on! =)

I try to make the most out of bad things that happen. I try to repair what can be repaired. I can't stop walking because I fall or stumble at times.

Yeah, ideally I think seeing the positives would be the best in a bad situation, but I think my default thinking is more pessimistic. However, I sometimes do see a good side to things when looking back on it.

I will just let the bad situation flow. the more you fight back sometimes the more you get hurt. so be it, but it's doesn't mean I'm not aware about the situation. I'm going to learn something from this and bounce back next time.
