When Friends Are All We Need!

It is interesting how things go when we have a few good friends. When I say "a few" I am not trying to say that those who have "a thousand friends" are wrong. If they know how to manage to visit one thousand friends in one week, they are good with it. For me, a few "good" friends near me is what I need. Why am I saying that? I posted some threads these days talking about my health conditions. I am going through lots and lots of exams and "up to now" all is fine. One or two things of little remark to pay attention to, but fine. Yesterday, I began my ABPM test, which I fortunately finished today morning (I just came from the clinic), and I will have one more exam today when I will have my cervical region scanned through a magnetic resonance imaging test. The thing is that yesterday was my friend's Bruna birthday and I had a wonderful time in her home. Her sister is also a lovely person and we talked a lot almost all the party. In fact, it was a small reunion and Bruna called only her close friends and what made me feel the most important person in this world was that it was only me and another girl who were not members of family there yesterday. So, she only invited Gláucia and me to have dinner with her and her family. That meant the world to me and I never felt so honored in my life! After the dinner, we talked about my exams and health conditions, which she is aware of and when I mentioned I was performing a magnetic resonance today after, she immediately said she would go with me, because she know how claustrophobic a person can be inside that huge device. I was really about to cry in happiness with so much good connection I have with this girl and today she will be there with me. Sometimes all we need is a good friend's word to feel better and I am learning this in a so beautiful way that I will never forget what they are doing for me. When I moved from Rio de Janeiro to Petrópolis, 13 years ago, I never thought I would be so happy in my life next to such special people. Today I talked about Bruna and her sister Bianca, and I can add here Márcia and Ednéa. These Fantastic Four are my real and the most valuable friends in my life, they care and worry about me, they know me profoundly, and I am so grateful I have them by my side to care and worry about them as well! Do you have friends like that by your side? What did they do for you whenever you didn't expect anything and they surprised you? I know we all have special friends in life, tell me your stories!
