Paper Book vs Kindle

There is a book I want. Its a self help book, not a novel, which is different for me. Looking for a cheap copy of the book, it is still pricy. On Amazon, even the used books are almost as much as the new one, and there was one on Ebay that was way over priced. So I started looking at the kindle version. I can get the same book on my kindle for just under $10, and I have the amazon credits for it but.....I would sort of rather have it in hardcopy. I'm not anti-ebook. I do love my kindle. But find it easier to read a paper book as I take them in the tub with me. But is a self help book really a tub read. What would you do? Get the cheaper book for the kindle, or the more expensive one in paper? Do you ever read self help books? Is there one you would recommend?

Oh no. You should read some books. Surely there is SOMETHING out there, fiction or non-fiction, that you might enjoy.

@nonersays I have downloaded many free books, but when I pay for a book, it's for a paper book.

I have kindle and it is useful since I don't have to buy and store more books at home. As you know, the books really take more room.

@nonersays My Kindle hasn't got down before. And actually its electricity can last a long time. It is not like my phone which I need to charge it everyday.

Did you know you can download a kindle app for your computer or phone for free and read any kindle book that way. Might be an option if you're interested.

I've never managed to read an actual novel on a computer. Blogs and a few short stories are okay, but for serious reading I have to snuggle down in bed, or in the tub. I've never liked recorded books. I have to do my own reading to get anything out of it.

I read The Secret once. It did make a short term difference in my life. I find it very hard to keep putting positive into the universe when so many negative things keep happening. I'll have to gie it ago. After I posted this I ended up getting the e-book version so I could afford to buy some St. Johns Wort as well. The one I just got was The Miracle Morning.
