The radio pronouncer keeps saying that four letter word that starts with S and ends in W... I don't want to hear it. La la la la...

That's a word we don't usually hear around here until January...and then the kids get really excited about the possibility of class being canceled. Even college students enjoy an unplanned day off!

We never had snow days when I was going to school. We had to walk miles through 10 feet of it, uphill both ways, to get to school...

@Platespinner That's because I just moved to St Kits this June at the ripe old age of 65.

@paigea We drove through Banff in July 1976. There still was snow.

It hasn't come down yet here, and it can bloody well stay up there in the sky as far as I'm concerned.

@BarBaraPrz I am not ready to shovel snow, I hope it stays up at least for another 3 to 4 weeks. I cross my fingers.

One of my cousins lives out there. Her hubby does plowing so he'd be happy with it, but I don't think she'd like it.

It's actually quite balmy out tonight. My glasses hardly steamed up at all when I came in from my walk.
