Do you enjoy watching reality shows like Big Brother?

Many reality shows are aired on TV. I would like to make a mention of one show here that is - Big Brother. Big Brother is a reality game show which is aired over 54 countries. In India, it is telecast as Big Boss.
In the show, contestants called "housemates" stay together in a specially-constructed house which is isolated from the outside world. Inmates are voted out on a weekly basis, until only one remains and wins the cash prize.
During their stay in the house, contestants are continuously monitored by live television cameras as well as personal audio microphones.
Do you like watching reality shows and does your list include a show like Big Brother?

Yes, we also have that Big Brother, titled Pinoy Big Brother. But what I like to follow on TV are those housemates aho are not teeners as we have that also.
I love it when the management would also choose celebrities to be mixed with the common people.

It means that you like to watch Big Brother called Pinoy Big Brother in your country. Yes, here also they mix celebrities with common people. This trend started since last season and a common man won the competition.

@dpk262006 Of course, I prefer to watch a good movie than to watch at people taking their showers and saying bad words. This is how Big Brother is in Italy, only obscenities.

@LadyDuck Yes, I agree with you that watching an entertaining movie is a better option than watching some people in a reality show taking showers, cooking, cleaning and saying bad words to each other. Indian version of the Big Brother (called Big Boss) has same elements here.

I don't like most reality shows especially shows like that. A lot of the scenes are staged and I don't really have the patience to watch all the episodes.

Everyone has different taste. There are always allegations that these kinds of shows are scripted, I am not aware how true are the allegations. What kinds of shows do you prefer to watch on TV?

@dpk262006 Documentaries, mostly. I used to watch 24, never missed a single episode. But since it ended I haven't really watched any TV shows.

You are right that current season of Big Boss is one of the worst seasons. One does not feel like watching. There is no positivity in the show at all. Which other reality show do you watch/like?

@cabhay Yes, it is better to watch some other shows than BB. I watch KBC, however, it's season has recently ended.

it is fun, we had a version of that too, and i watched it sometimes but it was aired so late so i didn;t see all episodes. I enjoy Survivor too@dpk262006 (58675)

There are always allegations that it is scripted. However, I am not so sure about that allegation. Yes, here also it is aired late. We record the episode of BB and watch it next day at our convenience.

@ramapo17 May be some contestants behave oddly and are not worth watching but on the other hand all the contestants cannot be perfect or could behave the way we like.

I used to have a cable system here and when did not see anything I wanted to watch on that I would go to Project Free TV but found it that could get viruses so stopped and then finally Netflix came to Israel and my technician helped me with all and got a TV for it and I do not miss the others and find plenty to watch on Netflix. So, yes I love Netflix.

I watched a few episodes of Big Boss and found it a big loud drama. Could not withstand it. Anyway, I hardly watch TV.

@dpk262006 I used to watch Kapil Sharma show. I am not a TV person and I never switch it on on my own. Sometimes I accompany my husband to watch Arnab Goswami. I am a movie freak and watch movies in theatres. I don't miss any good release.

@arunima25 Kapil Sharma show was hilarious and was interesting to watch. Now it has become a history. Although, sometimes, Sony TV channel runs its old episodes, which could still be watched again.
Arnab Goswami is very loud and shouts a lot, as if he should only be paid attention.
Watching movies in theaters is a good option to entertain ourselves. Which latest release did you see in theater?
