We fell!

I've got another bug, but thankfully this time it's not making me vomit so I took Leonard to park this morning between toilet trips We played in the park for a bit, then went across to the pond to see the ducks, geese, pigeons, seagulls, and moorhens. He found a stick and wanted to show it off, he showed it to a passing dog (after I asked the owner) but quickly took it back after the dog thought he was giving the stick away Then he moved on to the geese. They knew he had no food for them, so they weren't interested and one in particular escaped into a big puddle. Of course Leonard followed the goose and in my joy at watching him I was delayed in stopping him from walking into the puddle - I leapt forward at the last moment and we both slipped in the sloppy mud and fell flat on our bums A couple with their baby laughed with me and offered me wet wipes but we only live two minutes away so I didn't bother, a pair of mud-caked trousers never hurt anyone, lol. Leonard then made friends with a 14 month old and spent a couple of minutes checking that he had two ears before we headed home, where I had to undress him at the front door to avoid bringing the muddy puddle into my living room At least after all that he's having a good nap while I have a rest

Mud bath ! It's one of those things where you know there's nothing you can do once it starts happening . . . oh but it's going to be a fun memory! Hope that bug goes away soon!!

I think I shrieked when it happened and then my cackling laugh came out and that's the worst part of the whole thing

He's so obsessed with ears and facial features, I blame it on my aunty for introducing him to the head, shoulders, knees, and toes song He was really gentle with this other toddler but when he's checking on the hourly status of my ears he uses my chin as a handle to violently turn my head from side to side
