Waiting For A Delivery

I don't know about you but I dislike waiting for a delivery. But I have no choice today: I need my prescriptions from the drugstore. They said they would be here between 2 to 5. I wanted to take a little nap,but now I can't. I have been up for ever. Getting cold out there, expecting snow tonight. Not my idea of fun. How is the weather at your place?

@MALUSE It all depends where in Canada, where I was born in the province of Quebec, we had tons of snow then.

It shockingly warmed up today to 60 degrees. It is nice and sunny. I hate waiting for deliveries too.

I know how you feel, I hate waiting for deliveries as well. It seems we are always a little extra tired when we have to wait for a package! It is nice here, a little warm, but it is cooling down.

There was a day recently that I was going to meet my sister half way (she lives a bit far), but last minute she found out she would have to be at home to wait for a delivery. I guess these meds were from out of state and they would require her signature - she couldn't leave the house. It's cold in the morning and evenings, but still quite warm in between - not like summer anymore though, thank goodness!

I don't, either. But at least now they have a tracking system so I have a way to know exactly when the item would arrive.

Waiting is never fun. Bell was always horrible. They would tell you to expect the between 8 and 5. If you waited all day, they arrived at 4:45..... But step out from 8 until 8:05.... They will have been and gone leaving a note...sorry we missed you. True story...this happened to me.

I hope they arrived. The weather here is perfect. It snowed and I saw it, instead of only seeing the white pass through during the night hours. It wasn't a lot, but it still put a smile on my face. You might be getting snow, but it's still too early for it to stick to the ground.
