What Is Your Definition Of A True Friend

What is your definition of a true friend how do you know when someone is sincere at heart and have your well being in there hearts. I think A definition of a true friend is something that sticks by you threw thick and thin your trials and tribulations. I had a lot of good friends I have been friends with for 20 years or more. It hard tho when you get older and then you and them get family or they move away things change. Never been a good person to handle change how do you handle change in your life.

This is a question I consider a lot. I have a lot of acquaintances but very few friends. A friend doesn't have to be by your side all the time. I think a friend is someone you know is there for you if you need them, even if you don't see them often. Someone who sticks by you or is willing (even if they are not able) to help. A friend is a person who offers equality to the friendship. I have 'friends' I only hear from when they want something, even if I would invite them to do things that friends do. That's not a friend. I have one friend who I see as putting in an equal effort into the friendship. It's difficult because we have little in common! But I do appreciate that she is a true friend, and I think she appreciates the same of me.

true i agree im in that stage friends I dont see a lot but if something serious goes down they are there for me as i am them

I see from how I like to be a friend of those close to me.
I am more of a friend in need - rise to the occasion.
I agree some of my friends from my younger days have drifted after we got married.
It then becomes our partners have also to feel comfortable - siva

True freind is one who understands u well. With whom you can share all your anxiety happiness love sadness etc. He shoulTrue friend is one who understands u well. With whom you can share all your anxiety happiness love sadness etc. He should be frank and kind too . And most important is that he should understand your emotions will care for u ever
