It has been a while since I have posted. We have been a busy family. Lots of good things have been happening for us.
1.) Elijah had problems at school again. We got the principle involved this time and it seems that the problem is solved. At least, I hope so.
2.) Keith got the job at John Deere. He started on November 6th. This is a major stress reliever.
3.) We found a church that we like.
So lots of things have been going on. I have been so busy with appointments and the kids that I have been neglecting my online earnings. I am back now and I am going to be catching up!

@Happy2BeMe thank you so much. I am happy too. We had a bump in the road this morning. The alarm did not go off on time and he was late to work.

Yesterday was a good news day. My father has found a long term bed in the retirement facility at the top of his list. It's a relief for our family...even if he won't be happy in the long run.

No, this is the job that is further away. Physically, the job here that is close to us would probably have been too much for him. It was a lot of work.

I am so glad that all these good things are happening to you. That isn't the John Deere in Moline? Finding a church is always an issue, it took us a while to find our winter church in Florida. At home in CT my family has belonged to the same church for over 170 years. I hope the school issue for Elijah is over, nothing worries a mom like problems her kids are having. Sounds like a great time for you.

@BelleStarr We live in North Carolina. We have two John Deere facilities near us. One is in Benson, NC and the other one is in Angier/Fuquay Varina, NC. Hubby works at the one in Angier/Fuquay Varina. We are very happy with the new church. Finally, both of us and the kids are all excited about church. It seems that the drama at school is over for the moment. I am so grateful!

@BelleStarr I did not know they had manufacturing plants either until hubby got this job. They do have a large store in Fuquay Varina but it surprised me to learn about the manufacturing plants.
It turned out ok. I am going to post about it later. Thank you for the prayers/positive thoughts.

@Shellyann36 Okay we travel through North Carolina twice a year but I wasn't aware that John Deere had plants there, I went to the home Office Museum in Moline and it was quite amazing. Please let me know if everything was alright with the oversleeping issue.

@paigea I understand that. Most of our relatives are on the East coast or here in the South region. We don't have anyone across the country. Still finding the time or the money is always a stretch.

@shaggin Thank you. Yes, the news with Elijah is the bullying. Since the meeting with the principal, he has not had any anxiety about going to school.

Things sound like they are all lined up and on the right track at your house.
That must be a huge relief, the job, the intercession on behalf of the principal and the new church. Now you'll have to join us more often on the site, you'll love it!

I've already shared about the good news I've had last month with finally getting a guy to help us with the window work.
I've had the last three days off, two of them my normal days and one extra because my foot was hurting. If you'd like you can pray that I'll be able to work today and that even though I'm standing on my foot it's still able to be less swollen by days end. We don't know yet why it's swollen, so the PA that's been wrapping my foot in a unna boot ordered me some antibiotics just in case. Today's only my second day on them.
I'm hopeful I won't have to take time off right now until it heals. While I do have vacation time left yet, I don't know that my bosses would allow me to use that since they don't usually allow time off before the busy holidays. I was able to walk around yesterday cleaning windows for three people, but for that I can quit anytime and sit down periodically.

So glad you are happy. We lived in FT Wayne for a while and the biggest industry there seemed to be John Deer. I hope he likes his new job and enjoys the job. There is a huge John Deer here in Canada nearby too.
