Fresh baked cinnamon rolls at the clubhouse today. Do you like those?

Today, our clubhouse committee is hosting our (monthly) breakfast for $3.00 that will include some wonderful cinnamon rolls made by a retired baker who lives in our little community. I suspect the attendance will be up and scrambled eggs and sausage will be served as well. I really don't like cinnamon rolls, but Anne does and Tom, the baker, is a guy I play pool with sometimes, so we will go and socialize for a while. They do serve good coffee and lots of it. So, what about cinnamon rolls? Like them? Too sweet for me. Edit: We were able to get the rolls without icing and they were delicious!

I do love cinnamon rolls! For that price, that breakfast sounds well worth it. With lots of coffee and friends, it should be a fun and tasty morning .

YUM! Does this answer your question? I love cinnamon rolls, especially when I drink cocoa with them. Scrambled eggs and sausage are delicious, too. Now I'm hungry, lol.

I am more drawn to things like chips than to sweeter things, but then, I could easily eat a half dozen chocolate chip cookies.

@JamesHxstatic Germany and Austria are famous for their cakes. My favourite is apple pie with crumble and whipped cream. I've just had a piece. I don't bake myself anymore, though. What with the many fine bakeries everywhere it's really not worthwhile.

@MALUSE I would love that, minus the whipped cream. Apple pies are my favorite by far.

I could eat these but probably just one. I love chocolate and most sweet things but if there is too much dough and/or pastry it puts me off a bit.

While I love (and consume) a lot of bread, things like these rolls and donuts do not tempt me.

@JamesHxstatic I'm much like you although I don't really eat a lot of bread. I ate a lot in France as it was just so nice, much nicer than our bread here. I wouldn't give you twopence for a doughnut.
