Having Fun With A Wedding Photo Booth

Saturday evening my husband and I attended the wedding of one of my dearest friend's daughter. It was just lovely, a very touching ceremony, great food, fabulous music and dancing and a photo booth. Now I have to admit, I am a bit of a fuddy duddy, I had no intention of getting my picture taken. I don't care to see pictures of myself!!
My friend would not take no for an answer and without being rude it was unavoidable. lol Now that I see the pictures, I am sorry that I was such a stick in the mud, it was so much fun. I am including some of the pictures for you to see.
One is hubs and me and the other is my friend Irene and I hamming it up. How about you, are you a photo booth fan?

I have only been to a photo booth twice in my lifetime. I cringed when I saw the pics! I would do it again if I happened upon one. My husband may not enjoy doing such a thing though. But, I bet Little Miss would love it!

This one was more open than the ones they had in the day, and the warning was a little better about when the picture would be taken. Little Miss would love it.

Yes and the wedding couple gets a copy of the pictures too so it adds to their memories of their special day.

Photo booths are few and far between these days, what with (almost) everyone and their dog having cell phones that double as cameras. Having one at a celebration is a novel idea, and it looks like they had a pile of funny hats, too. Great shots.

They are very popular at weddings here in the states. Almost every one I go to has one. They had hats, big glasses, boas etc lots of props. The booth made 2 copies of the pictures, one for the bride and groom and one for the guests.

@BelleStarr They are popular up here also. Every wedding that I've attended for the past 5 years or so has had a photo booth. And why not.....they are hilariously funny.

Great pictures but I am like you on this one I hate my picture taken. I don't like how i look in photos, but will take pics for like family events etc.

That is why I said no at first but I didn't want to be ungenerous with my friend so off I went and actually we had fun doing it.

Not a big fan but people have gotten more creative with photo booths at weddings here lately, and they are often a big hit.

Yes there was a line at the booth for most of the evening, especially the young people were loving it.

we do not have the photo booth here, but when we want some funny shots, we say 'wacky' and there it goes.

The good thing here was the bridal couple also gets a copy to keep as souvenirs.

I used to love the photo booths that the mall had when i as a kid. Havent used one in years. But do kbow almost everyone has ones at weddings now

The point of the photo booth was that the bride and groom get a copy of the picture to remember your part at the wedding so a selfie just wouldn't do that.
