Some prepaid cards are alright, if they are plastic or if they have a barcode, but this one I opted to get it right away because I would have had to wait another week for a plastic card. So, I can not use it anywhere but online or over the phone. It does have a CVV, number and expiration date but I would really like to use it for gas.but that is a no go. Oh well, I have a bill coming up next month I should be able to use it on. PayPal is charging some depositers fees now so it is not as popular as it once was..such a pity.

I use my PayPal money to buy online. There are still no fees to withdraw PayPal money to a bank account, and many prepaid cards have no fee to reload money from a bank account, at least in my country. I never had a virtual card, sorry.

No, I am not talking about the withdrawal, I am talking about some businesses are being charged fees to deposit on PayPal.

@snowy22315 Do a bank transfer to your Paypal from the account linked to PP. My bank does not charge anything for a bank transfer if I do it myself online.

Same as @topffer, we have no PayPal fees for the moment. Anyway I use the money on PayPal to buy online. I bought a prepaid credit card once, it looks exactly the same as a normal MasterCard, same color, same plastic and I can recharge it without fees.

@snowy22315 The disposable one we can buy here are identical to the MasterCards, even if issued by another company, so we can use them exactly the same we use the credit card. They also have the microchip, that is in every European credit card.

Alot of them are trying to change to alternative payment methods. One place I work for sometimes went to direct deposit.
