I had a discussion all primed and ready to go, and it flew right out of my head! i got distracted by paying the electric bill..and now the topic is gone! Rats! Does that happen to you as well? I was thinking I might think of it as I was writing this one..but no...I didn't

That does happen.
Or sometimes I will have rapid fire, like ideas for 4 or 5 discussions.
So what I do is write them down on bits of scrap paper. Over the years I have stapled many bits of scrap paper together with discussion ideas. Cross em off as I write em

@FayeHazel That's the way, plan in advance.
When I have an idea for a discussion (very rare), I write it down even as a note in my diary.
I preffer responding to other discussions though.
When I have a lot of time during the day, I plan how to mylot better, what ideas to start discussions about.

Yes, there are plenty of copycat discussions about.. lol. Sometimes, a discussion does trigger another one though..that happens a lot too.

@snowy22315 I think when that happens - like one discussion triggering another - mentioning the member's name (who wrote the original) is not enough. The member who writes the triggered discussion should wait at least 12 to 24 hours - not ten minutes - giving the original a chance to make some cents.

Yes, I was frustrated yesterday, typed in a pretty interesting discussion and it wouldn't submit! The second try, it worked.

This happens to me all the time. I just need to surround myself and my house with sticknotes so I can write down all my ideas when they happen.

Yeah, I thought of another discussion, but I am not sure if it was my original one or not?? Usually when they come back to me, I remember what they were..but not too sure now.

Happens to me all the time. I could be laying down in bed and something comes up to write about and i forget what it is. Now I keep a notepad by my bed so when I have an idea i can write it down and not forget.

Rats ?!! That's the exact word to describe the situation.
Rats have been damaging our sewer under garden, they dig holes in the ground and get into the tunnel where the toilet and sink water flush into. The rats bring ground with them, make holes under the concrete layer and when it accumulates, it make a blockage in the tunnel -_-
Once and for all I hope my dad and I solved the problem.
When least expected, rats make damage.

@snowy22315 You don't have to be sorry to hear that, it doesn't require feeling down, it feels like, dammit, rats !!! Like you have written yourself.
My dad got a worker to mix concrete with sand and small stones, and cover the area around the sewer checkpoints (the places where one can lift up the rock cover, to check the sewer) there is no chance for the rats to dig holes to the sewer and if they find a way, they will not be able to get out.

lol Yes, it happens to me, I will get the idea for a most, usually at the most inconvenient time and then when I am ready to write it , the idea is gone.
