I have been feeling real contentment lately. After my stay in the hospital(last of August) there were some additions to my medications. So I have been taking the Prozac for about three months now. I am feeling a mood inhansment and it has really helps my feelings of anxiety and panic at times. It is so nice to feel this way. Hope it lasts a while. Last time I took this medication it made me feel really good for about two years. Then I had a really bad downward spiral and had to go off the med. Fingers are crossed this time around. Have you recently had an improvement in your feeling of well being? What caused it?

Be glad they are. Being depressed most of my life has not been fun.

For me it's the season - I love winter and my mood changes automatically with the first snowflake. I haven't seen a lot of them yet, but I know they're coming. It's the best mood changer in my life. Just give me snow, and it will light up my life.

@celticeagle The sooner the better for me. Now that it's gotten colder, I start looking for snowflakes.

I've been on Prozac for about a year and a half. Right after I started taking it a women's veterans group in town offered a course in koru meditation. I've combined those two (I love to pray and meditate on the Psalms), and I'm so thankful that things are better for me.

That is wonderful. I think we all have to find our own individual thing that works for us.

I'm glad that the prozac is working for you. I don't take any meds, and I'm usually pretty contented.
