I hope you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving break. I’ve been on here going through my notifications, but I haven’t actually posted. My break was full of celebrating, shopping and sleeping haha. Thursday - Happy Thanksgiving lol! ;) I got up a little after 9am to watch the parade in the living room with my nieces. I wound up dozing off here and there since I was stupid enough to stay up late the night before. My little niece woke me up to see 98 Degrees perform, so that was cool of her. :) I dozed back off for a short while after the parade, and then I finally pulled myself off the couch to go shower. That woke me up for a bit lol. We ate together a few hours later while listening to Christmas music. I wound up falling back to sleep on the couch, but I ran to the store so that nap was short-lived. I had some pumpkin pie and fell asleep for several hours once I got home lol. We don’t really go to anyone’s home (or vice versa) for Thanksgiving. That’s more of a Christmas thing with my family. Plus some of them work that night or the next morning. So we basically just celebrate as a household. Friday - Aaah, Black Friday. I got up and worked on a few short writing orders before going out with my best friend. We hit up the mall and Walmart, and I can’t remember if we went anywhere else. The stores were a little hot and crowded, but oh well, welcome to shopping on Black Friday. No mobs or fighting or anything like that; I stay away from that stuff anyways. We also go out in the afternoon/evening for stuff. Once she dropped me off, I ate and watched Frosty (what I didn’t miss of it) and Frosty Returns. I made a hot chocolate, put on The Muppet Christmas Carol and finished the rest of the short orders for a specific writing team. Saturday - I meant to do work on Saturday, but I never got around to it. I think after being up late to work on orders all week, celebrating Thanksgiving and then shopping the day before… I was due for a lazy day. I did put on a Smurfs Christmas DVD, make a hot chocolate and work on my Christmas cards. I also ordered something for my brother-in-law because I wanted to catch it while it was still on sale. Sunday - I went to storage with my brother-in-law and nephew, as we needed to drop off a few things. I grabbed a few pieces of clothing and DVDs, including my “A Charlie Brown Christmas” DVD lol. :D Shortly after we got home, I started working on a few writing orders. There may be more authors checking out the work now that the Thanksgiving break is basically over, so I wanted to get ahead by starting a day early. I’m also trying to make this payday a good one. When I was finished, I continued with my Christmas cards. All I did was address them, but at least that’s out of the way lol. I went to bed when I was finished with the cards. And now we fast forward to Monday, and I’m getting ready to start on my work. I may or may not be able to watch my WWE shows live this week due to personal reasons, but I can catch them on Hulu the day after they air. We’ll see what happens. Oh, and the gift I ordered for my brother-in-law on Saturday night came today. I love Amazon Prime. :) Alrighty, I hope the upcoming week is good to all of you.
