Lucky Dog

Are you familiar with the term "lucky dog"? Usually it's used as a term referring to someone who is extremely lucky. After I finished making dinner and was putting stuff away a plastic container with some leftover broccoli slipped out of my hands. It hit the floor, the lid popped off and broccoli was all over. The dog quickly rushed to see what happened and I think he thought the gods were smiling on him to offer such a reward. It just happens my dog loves broccoli. Since it was already on the floor I let him eat it and enjoy his bounty. He certainly turned into a lucky dog tonight and for me, it required a lot less cleanup after he licked the floor clean.

No, it wasn't enough to give him problems. Just a small amount but enough to save for leftovers

My cat sits by me when I eat and wants anything that falls on the floor and I do not want her to eat it so I try to get there before she spots it.

Cats and/or dogs are quick so it can be hard to beat them to whatever falls on the floor

I guess he was indeed a lucky dog. When the little dog Jax,,the sweetest doggie every visits, he spends half his time in Hoover mode looking for tasty scraps the humans may have dropped.I guess he gets lucky every once in awhile

Our dogs get lucky occasionally with a little scrap here an there but this dog was in heaven when the broccoli hit the floor Most times they clean the floor better than I can
