Dc 1- What you rather do on a Public Holiday?

Today is Dec 1, it is a public holiday in Malaysia to celebrate the birthday of Prophet Muhammad' Birthday, one of the observed holiday in most Muslim countries around the world. In conjunction of this public holiday, most companies off day is on Saturdays and Sundays. Hence, public workers and employees are enjoying 3 days off which is a rare occasion. My left-hand side neighbor's family went out early in the morning, maybe shopping or visiting relatives while my right-hand side neighbor's family had went back to their hometown in the North. As for me, I rather stay at home blogging and relax. I prefer not to join the crowd in public places especially restaurants and shopping centres where majority of the non-working people are window shopping. Now, what would you rather do on a Public Holiday in your country?

Prophet Muhammad' Birthday will be celebrated tomorrow here in India. It will be a holiday for those whose Saturday is a working day. For me, Saturday is an off day every week.

As for me, I tend to refrain from going to the public during the holiday. I am not fond of the crowded place.

@peachpurple I agree. I cannot also tolerate an area without an exhaust fan.

With the nature of my work, we don't have a Holiday. We still need to go to work.

Most of the time I prefer to stay at home during the public holidays, at least I can relax.

I like to just relax at home ... When I worked I would work all holidays for the overtime.

It depends, sometimes if there are events taking place in the city I would use the opportunity to go there with my family. Otherwise maybe go walking in the park or spend the day relaxing at home.

I still have work on holiday because of my nature of work. Though I just wanted to relax but I have to report to my work.

flop on the bed and snore my head off, and afterwards, a giant bowl of ice cream plus a good novel... bliss! (just in my imagination of course! )

@peachpurple At this time of the year, no such thing! All the preparations for family gathering, XMas, New Year, etc. are driving me nuts.
