Christmas

December 1, 2017 7:43pm CST
Christmas here in the Philippines has always been festive and Philippines also celebrates Christmas the longest. When it hits September the 1st the Christmas countdown has already started and in November, people start decorating their homes in preparation for Christmas Eve and the Christmas proper and also in the last of November or Mid December , the children here starts caroling. They go from house to house to sing Christmas songs and after the song ends a person form the house gives them coins and they went on to the next house. On the day of December 24th every household in the neighborhood is busy preparing for their Christmas Eve feast on the Christmas Eve itself families come together for a large feast. And on the day of Christmas it is time for hosting family gatherings or reunions as we call it. Overall Christmas in the Philippines is a very celebrated and happy holiday every year. How do you celebrate Christmas in your country? Have a Great Day :)

Same here. It seems like it starts earlier every year. In my family in Minnesota of the US my family gets together on Christmas Eve and exchange gifts, eat and play games. Hope you have a happy holiday season.
