We had a late breakfast today because everyone woke up late since it is a school holiday. There isn't any bread nor biscuits at home, so hubby suggested that we dine out for brunch instead of breakfast. Here we are at a local CHinese restaurant that serves Chinese cuisine at a cheap price. A plate of Roast pork noodles cost RM6 ( USD $1.47 ) while a a bowl of noodles with minced meat cost RM 5 ( USD $1.23). We didn't order any beverages since I brought along our own beverages to save money. How much does a plate of noodles cost in your country? my own pic

Oh wow that looks good. Those prices are great! Here, it really varies. To get similar looking noodles - Anywhere from $7 - $15 ... depending on the place and what sort you get.

@TheHorse My personal favorite is Mongolian buffet where you can make your own by going through a salad bar situation - that they fry up for you

That looks so good! There is a wide range of prices for noodles - depending on the restaurant - from fast food to high end. I just happened to pick a restaurant that we go to . . . online their menu says for pork lo mein it is $8.95

when we eat inside the mall, a plate of noodles is worth P50. roughly, that is more or less a dollar. so when we are 3, we pay $3.

@shaggin drinks are as expensive as meals. Look at the menu, USD$2 per cup of beverage, is't it almost the same as per plate of noodles??

That looks delicious. Here it is about USD $2.15 for a noodle dish at a Chinese restaurant so about R30 in our currency.

Wow! It not only looks delicious, but is so inexpensive, too! Here, we can't bring our own drinks into a restaurant unless it's a rare lobster type near the beach. The cost varies greatly here depending on what we order and the type of Chinese restaurant.

That is really cheap. I'm not sure anyone orders noodles except as a side on a dish, so it would be included in the cost of the entire meal.

I have not asked about the cost of the ingredients of the noodles that was made here last night. But it was good. That's two dollars I could get more that quantity over here. But not right now we still have noodles
