My local HS football team here is going to the state finals. This is exciting for everyone, but what really makes this especially poignant is that their head coach has blood cancer and myeloma. He undergoes chemotherapy and dialysis on a regular basis, and of course there is no cure. The players and all of us here want to send him off with a state championship. Keep Mark Fischer and the Louisa Lions in your thoughts this weekend.
