The Louisa Lions HS football team desperately want to give their ailing coach Mark Fischer the state championship. He suffers from blood and bone cancer, and of course their is no cure. Keep Mark Fischer and our local HS football team in your thoughts this weekend.
Lions are undefeated, playing in Class 4 state title game in Mark Fischer's last season.

@Deepizzaguy It would literally take a miracle. I am afraid his time has just about run out..he has defied doctor's expectations a number of times already..though so I guess anything can happen.

It's sad, yes..but just think how happy he would feel if only for a while if the team won states! He has already defied all his doctor's predictions.

Yeah, it would be fantastic..and a news story and sports movie in the making I bet. It is an honor just to go for sure..amazing..but even better if they won!
