The Christmas holiday season has been both a curse and a blessing for Kayla Jones who had a doll that was supposed to be given to her daughter Addilyn Kate, 2, had a package in her front door stolen who was caught on camera stealing the gift on Wednesday in Theodore Alabama. Kayla referred to the thief as a "Grinch". However when the new story broke out on Fox television branch WALA Channel 10 in Mobile Alabama, the story turned to have a happy ending. The Mobile Firefighters Association 1349 went to the home of Kayla and gave her a doll for her daughter the next day to her home. Vice President of the Mobile Firefighters Union Tony McCarron did this wonderful deed since he has seen many evil things done to other people "to last a lifetime." One television viewer who saw the tragic event on Fox 10 also wanted to assist Kayla get her daughter her special doll. It is a shame that some people like to steal items from front doors that are meant for children to enjoy during the holiday season.

Good deeds like those of the firefighters should be shown more often to balance the bad news we see in media. "The evil that men do lives after them; the good is oft interred with their bones." - William Shakespeare

I am loving to hear stories like this. Especially coming from firefighters, as if they dont do enough for communities just in their jobs!

Firefighters do not get the love and respect from the media that they should be getting for their good deeds.

@Deepizzaguy If I have the chance, I will do the same interest in the future. I had done some volunteering before and I can't describe the feeling of touching other people's lives.

That is true since good deeds are always rewarded down the line.
