Can't Believe I'm Uttering That Four Letter Word Today

With all the curses you'd think this one would be considered amongst them since it's a four letter word....SNOW!! 
Although the forecast was for flurries in my area they are only partially right. It all started with flurries and now it's coming down very hard and accumulating pretty rapidly. Looks like the first real snow of the season. I have to admit it does look pretty but once the novelty of that first snow wears off it's shoveling time.
Since the forecast was for snow (flurries) my daughter and I decided to get up early and go out and buy the dryer. Yahoo!! we got that accomplished but it won't be delivered until next Saturday. We also made a stop at Dunkin Donuts for coffee and the Dollar Tree for a few things and made it home before the snow really started to stick.
I have Christmas music playing, sorting through the gifts I bought and seeing who I still have left to buy for. I made a pretty good dent in my shopping and hoping my packages get delivered today as Amazon says they will.
That's what's going on in my snowy part of the myLot world.

I heard about that big storm that sweeping across the eastern US. I am sure it is pretty as you say, but a lot of work as well. We have fog this morning and 26 degrees, but should see some sun and 40s later. Off to work at I PM for a while today again.

Jealous! So many on here are getting (and complaining about) the snow I want! Ugh.

Not too much, but had to cancel Saturday plans due to snow. It isn't bad here but other parts of the area got a few inches.

It sounds like it's been a good day so far for you-other than the snow.
Not a lot going on here. I got the chores done, kids are happy so I am Mylotting while I have time. =)

Yesterday was cold and windy..the snow had fallen and the wind certainly blew it around.
Today it's not as cold (doesn't seem as cold with. I wind to speak of) and the sun is shining. It looks so pretty. The roads are dry...the snow if off of our steps. It's all good.

Oh I wish it would snow here Marilyn..a good snow..I am so missing winter.
It is just not winter here at all.

Glad I'm here in Florida. Our son sent us a text and attached a photo of his yard covered with that nasty white stuff. He's supposed to go out to dinner tonight with his wife and another couple, but will decide whether or not to reschedule is the roads look bad.
We have a tree lighting party in our lobby tonight with lots of food and drinks. Yippee!!!
