No pending jobs - possible ?

I find that I always have some pending job that should have been taken care of earlier , or needs to be taken care of immediately or some that need attention in a day or two. I realize this is an ongoing thing in my life where I am perpetually making lists ..just wondered if this happens with others too or is it just me ?

I always have loads...and I always end up with new ones that need immediate attention, and before I know the ones that I held back, become urgent...hectic. Almost always. Hope somebody else takes charge. lol

@vandana Almost the same case with me and I have the habit of putting off things until the last minute like paying bills

I like to be busy than pretending to be one. :)

@sol_cee , no point in pretending to be busy because we will only be fooling ourselves. .

If there are no pending jobs, life will become dull and boring.

@dpk262006 Probably to start with it would be nice to have a hassle-free day but after two or three days you wish you had something more to do

Yes, this happens to everyone. I make lists, then I have no time, I do what I judge more urgent and the rest goes to another "to do" list.

@LadyDuck , happens with me as well ,..once I forgot to pay the insurance premium on time and then I really had to run around to get it rectified so that the policy does not lapse..

@LadyDuck That's good because you end up paying fine for late payment. Now I pay online which is easier than standing in que every month..

We have dreams , desires and expectations. If we had no such thing there is no job.

@shshiju Without something to achieve one feels lost . You may enjoy not having anything to do for a day or two but not for long

I have a few pending ones. One reason why I never get up later than 6am. - I need enough hours in my day to get ahead with the things I have to do.

@Kandae11 Waking up early is really beneficial in many ways , like you say you get to achieve much more if you are committed.

I agree with you. I'm always burdened with some work or the other. It has no ends. I wondered why is it always with me. Now I see so many here. Work is never ending if you are a worker. I multitask but still tasks are left behind and piles up. I hope I get someone to assist me one day

I don't get that formal about it. I'm a great procrastinator. If I was going to make lists of chores, I'd be putting off making the lists, lol.

i make a schedule of my activities at the start of a day. like today, i will make my clinical focus, and on the sidelines, check on myLot, and watch TV.TV is always in my list of activities,as i like to catch up with what i missed when i was out everyday from 7am to 4pm.

@ridingbet with your work schedule combined with responsibilities at home , every minute becomes precious . I keep waiting for Sundays since we work half day even on Saturdays

@kiran8 i work only 8 hours a day, 4 days a week, when i am handling students. however, i am on training and oftentimes, i leave the ward before 4PM, because i have to endorse my patient to the incoming nurse.

Most of the people have the same story like yours. Perhaps we should be more careful on work. I find something missing in my life too, due to same problems like yours. I think I should have joined myLot very early, same as like this. Thank you!

Human nature is pretty much the same everywhere, we all have our weaknesses except a few very efficient people who are able to plan meticulously. I really admire that quality in people.
