"It is my FIRST time to hear the CAROLLERS: Can you believe that?”

It is quite late to hear the caroller in my place. In fact, it was just last night that I heard them singing in front the gate. I vividly remember during my childhood years that my friends and I do caroling in the neighborhood. The Christmas caroling activity starts on the first day of '-ber' months, October. The main goal is to earn the money and organize a Christmas Party before the Christmas Eve.
The funny thing is, my childhood friends and I usually vote who will be the rank-in-file officers way back then. It seems that we organized such an activity at a young age and more active than children nowadays.
“Have you seen carollers in your place?”
“Have you tried to be a caroller?”

I used to Carol when I was a kid but back then I didn't have my permission from my parents.
Can you imagine the scold I got from them

Not now and I was a long time ago now it was great fun.
If people did not want to hear you sing you respected them and went elsewhere.
We did not make much money at all it was more for the joy of it all then.
Glad you heard them and I did hear them in Pamplona they are called "The Auroros" and they sing wonderfully.

You can have though if you want to.
I got back to mine through Facebook in some instances and others through a group that they had started up.
Hope you find them.

@lovinangelsinstead21 Well, I have some few childhood friends on Fb. Others cannot be found. Most of them are living across the country. There is no communication after they moved from our neighborhood.

@ridingbet I think the local authority in your place should be alerted. Before, I can see them in my city. Now, they were not allowed lurking around the city.

@Shavkat this morning, there was a Badjao woman carrying an infant, and with her was a little boy. they touched my elbow and their hands were supine asking for money. i did not give them because i know their capabilities. they are members of a syndicate here.
some carolers too. and they whisper their songs. "Pasko na naman o kay tulin ng araw" almost whispering.

Yes, we did it when we were in grade school and high school. Now, they don't do it anymore for safety reasons. So like you, I also enjoy listening to carollers.

I've never seen a caroler, and no one would want to hear me sing.
