This is originally going to be a reply to a Myloter who have a discussion about how to get successful on Youtube but I decided to make it a post instead. Most Billionaires have good speaking skills, Speaking skills are important to convince investors to give you money. The Most Popular Youtubers and Game streamers have great mic skills, You can see the way they talk is a factor why they got subscribers. The Most Popular Wrestlers are not the best in Wrestling ability, The most popular ones are the one with mic promo skills. Lance Storm is a good technical Wrestler but he is very unpopular. Hulk Hogan is not that great of a wrestler because his moveset sucks but his promos drives people to him. The Most successful salespeople are the one who are able to sell products with words alone. They are so good they can sell meat to a vegan. The politicians who win elections are usually the ones who knows how to sweet talk people to what tickles their pickles. People stop being Shy! Learn to talk ! Have a skill in speaking. You don't need to be articulate to do so. There are people who talks with awful language but still manage to get people's attention. If you know how to talk with your lips, You can get rich. I am trying to get less shy and get out of my comfort zone because the lips is the organ that can get you rich. Have ever seen those people who looks ugly as sin and not rich but are able get attractive spouses? Listen to the way they talk.Everything they say is engaging and hypnotizing. If you know how to talk, You can succeed. You don't need to be a Harvard Graduate to be a well spoken person. You can talk in a trashy way but still be a good speaker.

When my husband was younger, he was asked many time to teach to managers "how to talk in public". Important companies asked him to teach to their sale vendors. People cannot even imagine how important it is to know how to talk, how to move (very little) your hands and how to dress.

" how to move (very little) your hands". For an Italian "very little" may be difficult to learn when it comes to hands.

@LadyDuck I was just teasing you, I know that all Italians are not moving their hands like if they were speaking to a deaf mute audience.

@topffer He told me it was very hard sometimes, but in the north we move our hands a lot less than in the south.

I agree that communication is a very powerful tool, the better you are at it , more chances of your being successful socially. Normally people are attracted to those who speak well .

When I was a telemarketer, I remember someone who always have a sale. His sales are higher than his actual salary. The way he talk to customers is unexplainable, It is like he is grooming them. I remember the manager lets him go home before the shift is over because he is able to make 10 sales a day while most people are lucky to have one sale.

@kiran8 I think it is essential in all aspects of life. Look at the couples who had been married for a long time. There is something with the way they talk with each other. Communication is such an important tool. I am trying to improve my voice a lot. I want it to sound mature, manly and posh. I also try work in improving my vocabulary. I do not want to be fake though. I still remain true to my self.

Unfortunately, I suck at charisma and my voice alone can give people nightmares

If Masako Nozawa, a frail granny can convince us she is Son Goku, I am sure we also have a confident badass inside waiting to be unleased. Voice can be altered.

Many people with good mic skills have terrible voices. They just embrace their voices.

This is true. And even if you're not the best at speaking to others, it's a skill that can be practiced and then learned. I am great at talking to others, but I'll admit it's not something I was able to do naturally. And every now and then, you will run into another person who doesn't really enjoy speaking too much, and they can almost pick up on the fact that you don't really like speaking too much, and then you tense up, and they tense up, and you both start feeding off each others' tension....And that's when you really need to step it up and remember your skills. P.S. Wow, you have a really, really long username. I just noticed that. How in the heck did you pull that off...

It is a matter of execution. A Good speaker can actually have a long conversation with a introvert who hates talking. I am sure you experience this before, Someone told you a joke and you laughed the moment you heard it. When you shared that Joke to someone else, nobody laugh. I think the key for communication skill is confidence. Communication skills is the reason why a plane jane can win a beauty pageant at the final question. em]lol[/em] I am still working on my communication skill and I think I am getting there despite of the hurdles. My Biggest hurdle is my voice. It sounded annoying. I sound like Michael Angelo from Ninja Turtles. Voice can actually be change if we practice. I think vlogging is a good practice. You dont even have to upload it. If you look at the first videos of successful Youtubers, they look awkward and shy.

@Melanie_Marie I think the key is to find a common ground. I am a video game geek and Mylot is filled with Moms and dads who dont play videogames, I still managed to find something in common with them. So I talk to them by finding a common ground in a subtle way. Seduce them without sexuality by making them intrigued. Make them intrigued to keep them interested. I just realized I have no enemies for 5 years.

Yeah that is very true. A lot of people are like that, and some made their selves to be like that. It's kind of beneficial to be able to talk efficiently you know. And I myself have seen those kind of people do the thing, and it's quite amazing how convincing and persuasive they can be

I want to master this skill. Who needs college if you have the best communication skill. It is the real skill that can be used. Sadly it is not taught in schools because it is something we can use regardless of the path we want to pursue.

@Alian123 I know a Millionaire though who is only an elementary graduate. But she speaks very well because she reads a lot. She is in a way my spirit animal. Also Bill Gates is a drop out but he is also a good speaker. Street smart sometimes Trumps book smart. Also there are Billionaires who are highschool dropouts.

@CaptAlbertWhisker Yes, but if you want to master good communication skills then all you say must have logic and proof, because not everyone can be convince with opinion based speech, and that won't work with professionals and some kindergarten. So yeah, going to college is essential.

Trump is kind of trashy but he still have good mic skills. Seriously most voters vote with mic skills and not platform.
