Yes, you read it right! Today, on December 16th, it is the day of Chocolate Covered Anything Day. I know a lot of people love to eat a well ripe strawberry covered in chocolate, but for me I much prefer to dip slices of banana in the chocolate. Delicious indeed! Now, it is your turn to tell us which is your favorite fruit to be covered in chocolate?

@LovingMyBabies: the strawberries have to be perfectly ripe for me, otherwise I find this too acid.

I like chocolate, but I'm not a huge eater of it. I don't know if there is anything that I've covered in it that I really enjoy. I do love white chocolate almond bark........now that IS my favorite.

I would choose either strawberry or banana. Can't think of any other fruit that would go along well with chocolate.

I missed this post, I think I was not at home the 16th. My favorite surely are the orange zests. You have to make candied orange peels and when they are ready you cover them with dark chocolate. Toooooo gooood.

@marlina They are very good, it's a bit of work to make them, but everyone loves the "orangettes". I have not found the big Sicilian oranges with thick peels this year, those are what I need to prepare them.

@marlina I know. I have told someone here before that if I could, I would rather take a tablet every day just to avoid eating and cooking etc.
