Do you hear something? .. it’s raining!

It’s 10 minutes shy of 9pm and I’m in bed with my fiancé - browsing on my phone while he’s watching WWE.
I didn’t want to get out bed but I hear noises outside. I finally asked him, do you hear anything outside?
He went to go check and it’s pouring out! The weather is so strange. The weather didn’t forecast rain this evening at all. That’s fine though we need the rain.

There was one day we got some sprinkles . . . was it that day (I can't remember, this week is a fuzz 
). I wish it was the pouring kind, but it wasn't like that. Yah, the weather is just weird . . . sometimes it's like super cold, like mornings and nights, but in between it can go either way. Today looks like it's sunny - it might be even warmer - but who knows. No snow for sure though

@infatuatedbby No chance of snow .. . I don't even know if we can drive anywhere to see any real snow. Gosh, remember how it poured A LOT last winter???

At the moment, it's 31° with 22mph winds. It's supposed to get down to 27° today, with a low of 10°.

@infatuatedbby - It snowed a little last night, and was 13° when I went out. It's really nice today. I have no idea what happened to the cold Arctic air we were supposed to get.

@infatuatedbby I am so nervous about my daughter traveling that I hope I can sleep tonight. It's only 17 degrees out right now. I'm going to take the puppy out then take a shower and warm up before going to bed.

@infatuatedbby I know I should gladly take it, since rain in California is scarce and all, but I don't want it. I don't trust Oroville Dam, which is only a half hour away from where I live. It made national news last winter when it nearly failed.

Oh yes, I wrote this post a few days ago. No rain since. It doesn't snow where I live, but I sure hope it doesn't snow too much there as that wouldn't be safe.

I'm sure you don't get rain that often where you live, but I'm also sure it was a very welcome thing due to all the fires happening out there!
