I've been working on my book today, and making phone calls for tomorrow, as I'm giving someone a ride to church tomorrow morning. I also called my daughter to invite her over to open presents.
I left a voice message this morning, and she just called me back. She's coming for dinner, so is my younger grandson. I will have all my children here, not just my boys. There will be possibly seven people at my table. I'm glad I got a larger turkey.
I am not going to tell my older son his sister is coming. Though I also don't want a bad scene either. I can't tell you how long it's been since we all ate a holiday meal together. I think they were children.
My younger son works until 7, so I'm preparing for 7 tomorrow night for dinner. Now, I just need to pray this miracle turns out great. My heart is now in my throat, and I need to do some extra shopping, food shopping. I don't need much, which is good. I knew I didn't have a vegetable. I also need to pick something up for my grandson, as I didn't buy anything for him, as I wasn't expecting him.
My head is spinning at the moment. I need to check my bank balance, as I am almost on E in my account and I need to make it to the third Wednesday of January.

One of my granddaughters, her husband, and their two children are going to make it for Christmas dinner which was a lovely surprise. We will have 16 or 17 for lunch. Unfortunately, two of my granddaughters are now living out of state and won't be here and my eldest son, wife and 2 children go to her family on Christmas but I will have plenty of company. I am so glad that your daughter and grandson will be there, that is wonderful news.

@NJChicaa That's my greatest fear. If I tell my oldest his sister is going to be here, he simply won't come. I'm praying for a good dinner. She does know he's going to be there, so there is some hope. She knew that when she said she would come for dinner.

Yes, that's what I mean. The last time we were all together was at my daughter's wedding reception five years ago. They got along then, which I think was for the benefit of their father, also in attendance and my parents, so I'm hoping they do today as well.

not that good. but i may be alone more then i planned. glad though the tree is finally done. yay. and happy you are going to have all your kids with you. that is truly exciting .

@just4him well i won't be all the time but i expect most. lol i am so glad to see that a good person like you are having family all together. probably God showing his love for you since you are so devoted to him

@bunnybon7 I know this is from God, so I'm expecting good things. I picked up a little more food on the way home from church, stopping at Aldi, so I'm ready. Now I just need to cook it.

You're a good person. I'm waiting to hear back from two people to give me a ride for Christmas Eve service, both morning and evening. I did get good news on Venom yesterday to end the week and the month on a high note. I'll post it real soon.

That is great..I wish my son would have gone with me to see my parents this Christmas...but it is nice enough he is coming here..Always great to have his presence and his help. I hope no issues at your place!
