Our younger son made this, the photo above, from his heart. It was for his 3 month old niece, Maisie, as one of her Christmas gifts. It took him months to make. He drew each shape on wood, cut, painted, decorated, and adorned. He showed it to us before it was completed, just days before we left for Florida. I'm so truly proud of him in every way, including his hidden artistic abilities. I'm now off for my morning walk along the ocean, but will see you all later. It's too beautiful for words outside, and I'm raring to get going!

That turned out so adorable. I love the bold colors and the kawaii vegetables. I painted very similar ones on rocks this past summer.

@DianneN I kind of lost interest and ran out of time around the summer. Seems nearly everyone else around here feels the same. To many people were being greedy or destroying them.

@DianneN I know you do. Though right now, I could do with some slightly warmer temps. We are supposed to get snow, but not sure if that's today and tomorrow, or tomorrow and Friday. I'll be glad when we do, we'll be out of the deep freeze and it will feel like a heatwave out there.
