I have extra beets from my veggie box. I am going home and while my squash is cooking i will chop up the beets and sweet potatoes to make chips.

I do love this, do you fry them or put in the oven?

@ricki_911 It also comes out good, I guess it's better than frying them..

It sounds a good kitchen experiment. I must admit I haven't tried beets chips.

I am not fond of sweet potato chips so I doubt I would like beet chips. Have your tried those kale chips?

I do like veggie chips but I'm not as industrious as you are to ever make my own.

I have never eaten beets but when my daughter was allergic to red dye I used the juice from the cans of beets she ate to dye cupcake frosting etc. I'd be interested in trying beet chips but don't know if I would like them.
