There is nothing else besides what you have described. As long as you observe the Guidelines, and interact with others in a 'social' and meaningful way, that is all that you need to do. If by 'use myLot' you mean 'earn money', then it's all explained in the Earnings Program FAQs. The more responses, comments and 'likes' your posts - meaning your discussions, your responses to other people's discussions and comments - get, the more you will earn. A discussion is the original post, of course. A discussion may receive responses and the responses may receive comments which may also receive comments. If you think of the 'discussion' as the first level, you and others RESPOND to a discussion (2nd level) and may COMMENT on your own and other people's responses (3rd Level) and on your own and other people's comments (4th and below) levels. None of that is very important as far as earning is concerned - the more responses and comments each post gets, the more it earns. What is important is that you should interact with others in a relevant and meaningful way because that is what will tend to make others want to interact with you. If you have nothing much interesting or useful to add to a discussion, then people will be less inclined to be interested in what you say and want to interact with you. That is all there is to it.
