Weigh-In Day

Just curious...Do you have a weigh-in day preference? I know for me, I weigh myself throughout the week, but I track my weight on Thursdays and Sundays for some challenges that I participate in. Some people don't like the scale at all, some people weigh themselves daily, some people weigh themselves weekly or monthly. I honestly feel that it is no wrong or right answer, but it is important to weigh yourself throughout your weight loss journey. In addition, don't forget to measure your success as well to see if you have lost any inches. How does your clothes feel? What is your weigh in preference?

I only check my weight once in a while to make sure I'm not losing or gaining. I weigh bout 130 lbs and want to stay there. I feel great at that weight!

@LPort2017 Yes, we need to keep our weight the same, don't lose and don't gain as either is an indication of something wrong in the body.

I go on the scale every morning when I get up, just to make sure that I am not gaining.

@marlina I understand, but do you fluctuate from day to day? I just wonder if you get frustrated from the up and down.

I haven't weighed myself in 13 years. When I got to my ideal weight of 125 it has stayed the same over the years because I completely changed my eating habits. Of course there have been slight fluctuations - I can tell by the way my clothes fit - but basically it stays the same.

It even takes me a year before I weigh myself but I never add or lose weight

@LPort2017 I only take healthy foods and junk probably twice a month and I take a minimu of 2 liters of water daily. My weight is always between 53 and 55kgs

That's awesome! I try to do bi weekly and its important to do same time. Weight can change during the day!
