Yes people. It's Blue Monday. The third Monday in January and also the most depressing day of the year. It's supposedly the gloomiest day of the year as people come down from holiday-highs and look towards the distant light of summer.
Blue Monday was created in 2005 by a British holiday company. The concept was dreamed up by Cardiff University psychologist, Cliff Arnall, who used a calculation involving such factors as current weather conditions and debt levels. However, while it had no basis in science, the idea caught on, and now many people have come to dread it.
Well not me, I don't dread Blue Monday. Today feels like an ordinary day. Yes the weather may be bad, but who cares. I'm in a good mood.

It's actually fiesta over here and yesterday I was documenting the dancing people who was dancing baby Jesus on the streets. Nope it wasn't anything gloomy over here.

@Strawberry18 We used to have Carnaval here decades ago, not sure if they exist now a days. There was none last year.

My mood may slighly depend on weather, but one specific day can't exactly state my mood is going to be at its lowest, obviously. It's good to raise awareness about seasonal depression and such, otherwise it's just a pointless national holiday like many.

Summer is even worse because it's sweaty sticky and covered in mosquitoes, I don't plan to ever complain about winter.

Like you, my mood is great. I didn't even know about Blue Monday until I read it on this site. I was curious as to who named these day. I supposed the good psychologist never thought the world will catch on.
