What Is The Reason?

I was up before daylight, around 6 am, The heat is kicking on about every fifteen minutes and that only means one thing, it is very cold.
I usually dream strange things and last night one of the dreams came from what I had watched on t.v., and that was Vikings. Nothing weird about that because that will happen. Even working all day and then you sleep and work in your sleep, it just happens.
But when you are having a dream about one of your tenants, being at their house and then your dead nephew shows up and sits down and talks with all of us, well that is strange. He has been dead for 15 years, he was shot in the head at a gas station and his killer never caught, he was 30 years old.
Well, last night I told him his eyebrows needed trimming and I trimmed them for him right there, made the joke that my tenant would have a new red rug when I finished, he had bright red hair. I was sort of close to him, he got hungry he came to me, he needed a babysitter he came to me. He needed to spill his guts he came over to the house.
I have not thought about him in a long time, maybe years, and that is why I ask " what was the reason for this dream?"
Life is so confusing and my dreams do not help.

I generally don't remember my dreams...but the ones I do remember often have no real rhyme or reason.
It is curious why you dreamt about you nephew.

@andriaperry For us, it's just another day. The roads for the most part are clear. Today will get up to 40 and what snow we have will be gone once again. Not looking forward to that. However, we have another storm coming our way starting Sunday through Tuesday. It's yet to be decided how much snow we're going to get from it.

Why don't you visit his grave? Bring some flowers. Maybe he misses you too. You said, you haven't thought of him for a long time and I think he misses your presence.
