It's a Dog Day

Have you ever heard the expression "lucky dog"? Well, today both our dogs getting groomed and from my perspective they are lucky dogs.
Both are getting the works...trimmed, ears cleaned, nails cut and of course a bath. They aren't that fond of the bath but it's necessary since our male dog Gizmo is getting a bit on the stinky side. I don't know what the groomer uses but both dogs smell absolutely wonderful when they're done.
It's so nice and convenient that the girl comes to the house and the dogs are happy to see her when she comes.
Other than the dogs getting pampered today there isn't much else going on.
I did a run to Aldi yesterday and got some fresh fruits and veggies so tonight I'll be roasting one of the heads of cauliflower but don't know what else I'll make. The cauliflower looks so good that I could eat just that and not worry about making it part of a meal. Do you like roasted vegetables?
The temperature has climbed up a bit and the snow is melting somewhat. That's a big thumbs up in my book.
That's about all that's going on in my little corner of the myLot world.

@Marilynda1225 At least my husband has moved the car inside the garage, I am glad my work was not wasted.

Ally gets a shower in summer when it's at least 99f out, she loves to bite at the water coming from the garden hose. As for actual grooming, I wish I could take all three cats in but they're even more expensive to get groomed than dogs are.

When I had cats I never took them to a groomer and we would cut their nails ourselves. But the dogs need more care and it's just easier to have someone else do it

I bet your dogs are not considering themselves to be lucky..
. It is sunny and supposed to be about 60 today. I am going to go to my favorite thriftshop today. I really probably shouldn't be shopping but if I find something I like affordable enough, I will certainly buy it.

@Marilynda1225 Yes, but they were closing so I didn't buy anything. They were giving away free cakes though so I snagged one of those. Like I said, it is a good place!

I just put it in the oven on a cookie sheet and drizzled Olive oil with a little salt & pepper.

Our temps went up and I did two laundry loads today. On my own I just let it pile up and then do it. Getting off soon to watch movies and then off to bed.

Your dogs live the life of Riley! lol I definitely love roasted veggies. We are trying a new restaurant with friends tonight which has roasted vegetables on the menu. I looked it up online. It's 71 here today which is almost perfect to me.

71 degrees sounds perfect to me too. We've hit almost 50 degrees the last few days and it feels like a heatwave compared to the recent subzero temperatures.

THe dogs must be feeling good from having all that clenning on their bodies. Like children they would not like it it will certainly makes them feel good. Here is mild after having had cold days this last week. And the sun is comin out too

Warmer outside here! Yes we will get near 60 degrees. I need to cut Harley`s nails but I wont bathe these stink bombs till Spring since they stay out.
I often wonder what type of shampoo they use

I'll have to ask next time she comes what type of shampoo she uses. Not only do they smell good but they don't scratch after their baths.
