Once Upon A Time........

That time is early this morning! I am up and gave myself an hour more to wake up and get a bath.
I have to work today, earn my money as a care giver. Today is filled with appointments but they are in the same area and a couple in the same building. CT scans come every three months to make sure the cancer is not growing ( still in remission) and that the ocdivo is still working.
As for me I will have a nice fresh novel in hand, I read while waiting at the oncologists office, the infusions take time.
I hope I do not get stuck in a waiting room with someone sick, that is all I need!

@andriaperry Yes, six hours is a very long time, only doctors wear a mask so long.

@just4him Yes we waited at the place for the CT scan for 2 hours! but at least its done.

The chemo took all day, Ocdivo takes about an hour but with everything else, bllod work and mixing the stuff, a total of 2 or more hours is needed.

@andriaperry I think I have read his books (one or two) some 12 -13 years ago.Nothing recently.Enjoy the book.

@amadeo He is still doing okay, Tomorrow the doctor will call with the CT results as promised. That flu mess is gone from this house but he coughs a lot, that comes with that cancer.

Waiting is hard. At least it's a good thought to bring a book. I hope you don't sit next to anyone ill.

We will know tomorrow about the CT scan. Sanitizer lives in the car, I have went through a couple already this winter.

I like reading while I wait at the doctor's too. I saw your other post about the elderly gentleman who interrupted your reading. I hate when that happens.

Not a really good Monday for me. My black cat, Lily, pooped outside of her litter box. I had to clean it up and clean out the litter box really good and put new littler in the box. I started listening to a book yesterday, It's getting good. Today is a better day although it's very windy. I got the vacuum belts I ordered. I put one in later and listen to more of the book.
