That is one reason why many do not cultivate them. Bad idea (lol)

@allknowing They are good if you plant them somewhere where you won't be connecting with them. They are also a good burglar deterrent on a boundary fence.

@allknowing Wow! They look spectacular in pots! I might have to rethink my views about them.

Oh - I missed that yellow one then (which would have been perfectly fine with me!). I do love the white ones - very pretty! Our neighbor in back of us has the magenta color ones growing and when it gets to big it overflows over our fence.

@allknowing I know you have an amazing garden . . . I've seen photos of the various plants/flowers you have but I wonder what it's like to actually be in the middle of your garden seeing the entire thing!! I love flowers, but we do not grow them in our yard . . . I'm afraid to grow anything because we have to be so tight with water usage (our drought).

@much2say We have our own well which has never let us down so far. We need a lot of water to water our garden as we have trees too.

Sad you did not see my yellow flowers. They are pretty. All flowers that grow in my garden are pretty. What I have noticed here is not many like flowers and I know what interests them and I dare not say it here

@allknowing well after seeing Judys comment that it had thorns it might be a bad choice for a bride.

These have thorns and may not suit for bouquets but they adorn the garden no doubt.

I love flowers almost any kind of flowers. For me all of them are beautiful. They all have their own beauty incomparable to others.
We have a lot of bougainvilleas before the double and single petalled variants and in pink, purple, orange, magenta and the white one, just like the one in your photo. Ours is planted in the ground so it grew taller and bigger. The others we have in pots. Sadly when the old house (my grandma's) was renovated we lost the one planted in the ground. Now we only have those in small pots.

I have them all in the ground. Can you not plant in the ground again? Your pots must be looking beautiful. They just need to be trimmed occasionally.

@allknowing Right now I don't have the time to transplant them but I'm planning to. Hopefully, I will. And yes I do trim them occasionally as well as the other plants in the garden.
