Good Morning From Chilly Florida

Good morning. It is still very chilly out even though it is almost 10 am. It is 52 degrees and will get up into the 60s today. It feels cold to us, we must be getting soft.
Yesterday we went to our first exercise class at the pool. It felt really good. We stayed after our class and walked in the pool for another hour. So two hours of good exercise. We also made a new friend from Niagara Falls. Part of the enjoyment of the exercise is meeting new people here at our resort. We came home and took a two-hour nap lol!!
I am not sure what we are doing today, we may be playing cards later, we will see. Right now we are watching TV, drinking coffee and reading the newspaper.

Yes, I can imagine, it was very cold when we left the north.

We play back alley which is like spades except the trump changes and also you receive from 13 to 1 card to bid on and then back up, so 26 hands.

@Daelii Hearts has the Queen of spades as the bad card that you don't want to get. We play hearts too with other people. What is hand and foot?

We don't get heavy ice in Florida, we are just not that cold.

Yes we are always at least 10 degrees colder than where you are and these days I think even more than 10 degrees.

@BelleStarr Tonight, like in two minutes, we are going to try to sleep without the a/c. There's a big breeze a blowin'! I can't tell if it's the waves or the wind, but it sounds good.

@BelleStarr I had a good workout at the pool this morning, but no nap followed. Still a good day for me though as I spent most of it working on my book.

That might be cooler for FL, but there are many people wishing it was that warm. We had rain all day so might have only reached maybe 50 if we're lucky

You forget what cold really is I'm thinking!
I do hope that it warms up for you. We are enjoying temperatures above freezing, of course the downside to that is all of the snirt that is piled here and there-reminders of those piles of snow that we had a few weeks ago.
Whatever you decide to do today, enjoy it!

It seems to be chilly in lots of states that aren't used to it, we just moved to Texas and these people are freezing. I think it feels good since we moved from Colorado and are used to it. I do have to say though that the humidity really does make a difference in coldness. Hope you warm up soon, sounds like your having fun though either way

Yah it has been chilly but it was 72 when we went out for lunch, I love that.

My aunt and uncle go to Florida for the winter and they're saying the same thing about being cold.
Glad you enjoyed your pool exercise class and making new friends while you are there. Hope it warms up for you

These water exercises are gentle on the joints so they are perfect for me and hubs. I know lots of people who enjoy tai chi, when we are at home if we had time we probably would take a class.
