Phone Apps I Love: Wordscapes

My friend Cindy introduced me to this app several months ago and I have to say I was every quickly addicted. It starts off easy and gets progressively harder. Once it gets really hard you can use points to help you with hints. It is in the form of a crossword puzzle so you can see how many letters there are in the words and if they connect with other words then there are some letter hints.
I have shared my love of this game with my friends and my brother in law and I have to say that he is much more addicted to the game than me!!

It sounds a little bit like Boggle. I like Words with Friends, which is essentially scrabble, but I started playing Boggle for a while online..now that game can make you feel stupid! I gave up on it.

@BelleStarr There are some people on there playing Boggle that are wizzes. They can rack up points amazingly fast and find the most obscure words.

I find scrabble stimulating but I hate competition which can be very rigid . So i just prefer to develop my words skills and vocabulary. When we play we help each other out. I don't play games on the phone because I find the phone very tiny and clumsy. Sounds interesting though.

Yes and this is not competitive, the only one you play against is yourself.

@BelleStarr No, we play in family groups and each help each other build words from the tiles in possession. It's an amazing trick to encourage young children to become extrovert. At the end we all feel good about ourselves.

I enjoy word games and hidden object games. I am getting addicted to one on Facebook called Word Connection.

I'm not a great fan of word puzzles... or soduko either lol.. but I enjoy doing jigsaw puzzles on an app on my phone...

I saw an offer on Inboxdollars for $10 to download this and get to level 250. I had hoped it wouldn’t take to long. I spent many hours playing it today and am so sick of playing it. I wish I hadn’t started now but I’m to far in to quit. I want that $10.

@BelleStarr I play games on my computer. I have a tablet, but I dislike it very much, just like the smartphones. We have one and it is in the drawer.
