I can't keep my son away from the Christmas tree. He pulling off the ornaments., he's pulling on the brances and I'm afraid he's going to pull the whole tree down on himself. And I just put it up yesterday. I can't wait to take it down. Any suggestions?

Depending on how big it is you might put it on top of a table where he can't reach it.

Can you surround it with a baby gate?

I HAVEN'T PUT MY TREE UP YET BUT I BELIEVE I WILL HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM WHEN I DO EXCEPT I DON'T HAVE A 1 YR OLD, I HAVE 2 1YR OLDS. TWINS THAT ARE 1 SO WHEN YOU FIND A SOLUTION PLEASE LET ME KNOW, PLEASE. ONLY THING I CAN THINK OF RIGHT NOW IS TO PUT THE TREE ON A TABLE OR SOMETHING OUT OF THEIR REACH. WHAT DO YOU THINK?

I would take the tree down. Get yourself a small table top tree until your son is a bit older and knows not to touch it. At least take the ornaments off the bottom branches where he can reach them. Or sit it in the middle of a playpen.

when my children were that small i use to tie my tree to the wall so it didnt fall on them... and with ornaments i went with non breakable things.

Start pulling his hair and then his clothes.

I wish I could help. I would probably have the same problem you have! My son is 10 1/2 months old and he gets into everything. :)

No not really, because I always hang candy canes on mine, but my kids would always leave them alone, but also have little teddy bears hanging on it too, to give to kids when ever they stop, I spoil kids, just my nature, love them.
