This guy is unreal. What are we? North Korea? Apparently he was "dazzled" by the French military parade that occurred on Bastille Day during his visit last year and wants to outdo theirs. Nevermind the fact that 70-ton tanks rolling down Pennsylvania Ave would totally destroy the asphalt roads 
or the incredible waste of money that it would be. Nope, Cadet Bone Spurs wants to show off his "toys" to the world. Possible dates being considered are Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Veteran's Day.
The Pentagon has just confirmed this story on the record saying "We are aware of the request and are looking at possible dates."

At the president’s direction, officials say they have begun planning a large-scale military event in Washington, inspired by France’s Bastille Day celebration.

@NJChicaa It should be but as long as the liberals do not win we are safe. Hello, we past partisan crap. This will effect everyone of u and it will be like Russia. Disagree with Trump, off with your head in a literal sense. If you nice, maybe they just lock you up for life. Was stunning to hear MSNBC on morning Joe who is a conservative say if we are here next year. Like I say Putin is President and we are at this point the United States of Russia, but keep being mad at football players kneeling at the national anthem.

That is sick! He wants to honor the military with a parade? What a crock! He want to be seen on TV, as Dear Leader, smiling down on all the might at his command. Military people do not even like to parade. It is a huge amount of work and extra duty to prepare and rehearse all that stuff.

actually, this could be the thing for other countries to see and then go, " woah! i dont want to mess with the u.s.a!"
but you have to think practical, its only going to be a small fraction of what the u.s. has. but im sure itll be impressive. i remember when the military would march in my small towns parade, it was always great to see , afterwards you felt patriotic and proud to be an american.
