Off To The Supermarket

I'm heading to the supermarket shortly and have my list ready. There are a few good coupons and I'm always looking for a bargain.
My list is probably a little longer since we didn't shop last week.
I like to divide my shopping since the supermarket seems to be very high priced for many things. So, we try to get to Aldi and Sams Club at least once a month. Between all three stores it does make a difference in what we spend monthly on food. One needs to be a savvy shopper these days in order to stretch the almighty dollar.
Another reason we're doing the shopping today is that we're getting another few days of heavy rain and it just doesn't seem feasible to have to fight the weather and crowded stores over the weekend.
My morning has flown by but I did manage to get a few things done around the house, had my coffee and breakfast and am not fortified to tackle the supermarket without being hungry.

I shop with coupons too, well you know tht. I also divide my shopping. Since the storess are all on the way to or from I do not use anymore gas.

I make a game to find the cheapest place to buy any given item. I am pretty savvy about prices so that helps. I am still impressed by the time you told us you got Thomas English Muffinas for 75 cents!

@Marilynda1225 there were a cooupke that I knew of but they closed Dollar Treer Tree has rye bread for a buck sometimes but it doesn't,t really taste much like rye

I still buy the English Muffins at the same place about once a month and keep them in my freezer. Too bad you don't have one of those bread/cake outlets near you. They have so much bread and I got a loaf of Beefstake rye recently for $1.25 and it's almost triple that in the supermarket.

It's always a good idea to get things done before it gets too hot but since it's been a gruesome winter here and so cold being hot almost sounds good to me

@Marilynda1225 We have air-conditioning in the car and in the shop so I don't like to complain about the heat really. The car can be very hot if is has been parked in the sun though.

I love shopping ... and getting bargains too . I don't have an Aldi close by but we have a Lidl ....same thing ! I love that shop.
