I read that book when I was in school. It's hard to believe that it is now 34 years later then 1984. Time does fly! Stay warm and cozy!

I've read it a couple times before, once actually in 1984. I even saw the movie, but I had to put it down now. Maybe in the summer I might pick it up again, where I left off.

There are several books in that similar vein that I would not revisit, for the same reason. Such as Brave New World.

I've heard of the book. So it was depressing. I'm interested to learn more about that book

It's set in a distopic future where everything is controlled by Big Brother.

The book is depressing because Orwell's vision has come true: big brother is watching us.
