Limitless Posting, Mylot is under attack!

February 10, 2018 7:59am CST
Mylot doesn't have any hard rule for no of post per day/hour as such till now. That means you have full rights to post the "infinite" number of discussion. Existence of Post is directly proportional rule book written by Mylot Admin. Posting discussions continuously will not help - It's quality which attract reader then postings 1000 one liners. On other hand few doesn't like reading too long posts too. What you think ? What do you prefer -> Reading 20 post in a single day by same user or Reading one per day

Theoretically, you can indeed post all day long, but you can be sure that members will soon stop reading, liking and commenting on your posts. This means that you will earn nothing. The community doesn't like it if one member clogs the Most Recent Discussions list and pushes all other new posts to the bottom.

I just had someone respond to my new discussion about Pokemon and asking if people would react oddly to a dad playing a tournament. The response was welcoming me to Mylot and saying they never heard of Pokemon or saw it played. To me that is cheating the system as they had nothing to add to the discussion.

Sure, anyone can post all the want. But that won't fly on this site. I like my friends here, but it's too overwhelming if someone posts 20 a day . . . and mostly those kinds of posters may or may not respond or comment nor get around to anyone else - so what fun is that?

I don't think posting so much is against the rules. One thing though, I like reading a lot from those I follow and those who follow me. If i don't find some discussions uninteresting, then I don't comment. I believe it is the responsibility of the members to post quality discussions as it will also boost their following and online activity of their accounts.

Besides It isn't against the rules, people that posts several topics in a single day, end up posting uninteresting posts and all the other users will ignore them.
