Finally, the crocheted dog is done!

My little girl has been asking for her little dog for days. This is actually quite simple to make, but I just didn't really spend time making the little dog. Finally, I have got it done. I actually found it a bit weird after it's finished assembling, it's not what I expected. I really need to learn how to assemble the parts nicely. Anyway, hope my little girl will like it.
She always wants to raise a dog, but since we can't allow her to do so, she asked me to make her a dog instead. She has been "bugging" me for this since end of last year. It's the Year of Dog in the coming year in Lunar Calendar, so it's a nice gift for her. By the way, she asked for the red ears.
I am going to give this to her tomorrow, she said it's her baby, so I have to put it in her stomach.

Thanks! It isn't really difficult to learn, though it took me quite a while to understand the simple stitches by watching the YouTube tutorials on my own. It's be much easier if there's someone guiding you through. I have heard that there are many Filipinos who know how to crochet. It's good that this art is still living strong in your country.

@Anne88 It's good that your mom can crochet. Do you mean you all have to do crocheting in school? That's cool!
Since I have learned how to crochet a few years ago, I always go around and tell people, it's really not difficult and I am not talented at all. I used to think I'd never know how to knit or crochet, as I am not a handwork type of person, my mom helped me with many craft work or sewing work when I was young too. Since I became a mom, I just started to learn. It's not as difficult as I thought, of course it's because of those great tutorials online.

The stuffed dog is very adorable I am sure your daughter is very happy with it. We have a dog and love him to pieces he is like a child to us just like our 2 cats.

I had a dog at home and loved her. I had a cat with her too and now I just have one cat. The dog is adorable. I hope she likes the dog.
