It is past midnight 12am in the morning right now.
Happy Chinese New Year !! Gong Xi Fa Cai !!
Hope that all CHinese friends at Mylot are having a blasting time with fireworks and fire crackers blasting in the air. Yup, my neighbors had just left off the fireworks, sparkling, bright colors of sparks flew into the black sky. It was a wonderful sight and noisy too.
Some dogs were barking while others whined because dogs are afraid of loud bangs such as fireworks.
Fireworks welcome the New Year, casting off bad luck. We have to stay up late at night because it is a belief that our parents and grandparents will live a long life as long as we sleep late.
That is the best excuse for me and my kids to use the laptop and smartphone until 2am in the morning !
