Do you drink sufficient water every day

Hello friends.. I should say no. . When I was studying used to drink very less water , was even anaemic then a doctor advised me to drink at least eight glasses a day. I increased my water intake but not eight glasses. After i started working , ignored my health and the same problem . No active life style , food sleep . Then i realized my mistake . I increased my water intake , but still i don't drink eight glasses. Is eight glasses necessary . I think i am not drinking sufficient water.. how many glasses of water do you drink every day.. what is the right quantity..

I think our body knows the best , how much is required.. it's not the number..of glasses

@prashu228 No. Sadly, this is not the case. Our body doesn't know how much is required. The older you become, the less you want to drink. This can become really dangerous. Old people often suffer from dehydration.

@MALUSE i agree the older the less but there are people who drink less water even at young age..may be some one or two glasses a day..

I dont know if 8 glasses is what you actually need. It is good for you though. I carry my water bottle around all the time and probably drink 4 liters a day. That might actually be too much. Maybe you should buy a nice water bottle and bring it with you to work. It might inspire you to drink.more!

No i don't drink eight glasses, mostly only one litre that makes some two to three glasses

That depends upon the season dear @prashu...in summers I have more than 10 to 12 glassful of water and in winters about 5 to 6! I never have refrigerated water and in winters I have warm water! Thanks!

Like you said our body sends signals to the brain which mentions when we require water for the body to perform its normal physiological functions dear @prashu228 ! If you are not thirsty drinking lot of water makes no sense, that is what I think! Thanks!

Eight glasses are not necessary. I never force myself to drink more than I need. Every liquid you drink counts, so if you drink tea, coffee, you eat fruits that also count as "water" intake.

My water intake doesn't go more than one litre while in office, i carry a bottle of water and drink only that much..

@prashu228 In my opinion one liter is enough. Drinking too little is not good, but also drinking too much is wrong. The water dilutes the minerals in our body and if you have to pee too many times you stress your kidneys.

For every half an hour I drink a glass of water :).our brains and body looks inactive when we don't take sufficient water.

8 glasses or more. I do not drink that everyday but I try to drink as much as I can. Water replenishes our body fluids. If we are dehydrated or there are less water, we become acidic and then all diseases will come after you.

I don't know how much water I drink every day - but I know it is not eight glasses.Anyway, 60% of what I eat is usually fruits and raw veggies.

We must at least drink 8 glasses of water daily. If we drink more than that also there is no harm.Water flushes the toxins from our body and keeps us hydrated. We must drink more water during summer season .

It depends upon which season and which glass, and what is your normal diet, including how much liquid you take, where you live, humidity and perspiration levels, age, etc., etc. I would still advise around six glasses of water ..if not because you should ..think of it as beauty routine..it will fit.
